Dr. Share is from Syracuse, New York. He attended college at SUNY-Buffalo in Buffalo, NY then went on to Medical School at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He did his Internal Medicine internship and residency at LA County-USC Medical Center in Los Angeles and then completed a fellowship in Gastrointestinal Diseases at Boston City Hospital – Boston University Medical Center in Boston. He then moved back to Los Angeles where he has practiced Clinical Gastroenterology in the Los Angeles and Beverly Hills community since 1979.

He has a teaching appointment at the Geffen UCLA School of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine and teaches medical students, medical residents and Gastrointestinal fellows at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Dr. Share is an Attending Physician on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and Linden Surgical Center of Beverly Hills. He has served on many committees at Cedars-Sinai including the Medical Executive Committee. He has been Medical Director and on the Board of Directors of Specialty Surgical Center in Beverly Hills, and is Medical Director and on the Board of Directors of Linden Surgical Center in Beverly Hills..

Dr. Share was a Co-founder and Co-Medical Director of the Cedars-Sinai Home Infusion Program and then the Cedars-Sinai Home Care Program and its Medicare-Certified Home Health Agency. He was named by the California Association for Health Services at Home (CAHSAH) as Outstanding Physician of the Year.

In the 1980s, Dr. Share was the Co-Director of the Cedars-Sinai Swallowing/Esophageal Disorders Program and continues his interest in Esophageal Diseases.

Dr. Share practices in a 5 Physician group of Gastroenterologists with offices in the Cedars-Sinai Medical Office Towers. He performs procedures at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and the Linden Surgical Center of Beverly Hills.
